In 1968 American Motors sponsored a contender inwards which 3 1968 Javelins would function at Bonneville to compete for the C Production course of written report record. Dubbed the Bonneville Speed Spectacular, it featured 3 stock Javelins particularly prepared past times Craig Breedlove, Edelbrock Engineering as well as head-porting skillful Joe Mondello.
